South Conference officials have
announced tournament game times for
upcoming GSC Men's and Women's
Basketball Tournaments in Niceville,
Fla. The UNA women's will play Valdosta
State at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday while the
men's team will face West Florida Friday
at 5:30 p.m. All games will be played at
The Arena, located on the campus of
Northwest Florida State College.
The UNA women enter the event with a
14-12 record. The Lions finished with a
5-9 GSC record and earned the No. 6 seed
in the tournament. A victory over
Valdosta State would send UNA to the
second round for a 2:45 tip-off against
the winner of the West
Georgia-Alabama-Huntsville game. The
women's GSC championship game is slated
for 11 a.m. on Sunday....
