MILES FOR MYLES

The University of North Alabama men's basketball team took time away from the basketball court to participate in the MILES for MYLES initiative. This program was designed to perpetuate the leadership legacy of the late NCAA President Myles Brand and to carry on with his valiant fight against pancreatic cancer.

Developed by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), which has been joined by the WBCA, NCAA and NACDA as partners, MILES for MYLES provides an opportunity for the collegiate athletic community to demonstrate its solidarity and to raise awareness and contribute funds for cancer research, specifically in the area of pancreatic cancer.

The UNA men's basketball team along with several local ACS / CvC team members blanketed Spirit Hill and raised over $1,000.00.

Special thanks to:

You can still donate to the MILES for MYLES initiative and receive an awareness bracelet by stopping in the UNA Basketball office in Flowers Hall!.
