FRAISE TABBED GSC PLAYER OF THE WEEK AGAIN
 The
Gulf South Conference has announced its
Men's Basketball Players of the Week for
the week ending January 16th.
North Alabama center Thomas Fraise (JR,
6-6, 300, New Orleans, LA).
Fraise earns his second accolade of the
season, averaging 23.5 points and 9.5
rebounds as UNA opened its league schedule
with a 1-1 mark. The junior shot 51.4
percent from the field and also hit 53.8
percent from beyond the arc from his
center position.
Fraise began the week, posting his third
double-double of the season behind a
season-high 27 points along with 10
rebounds in 31 minutes of an 80-77 road
win over West Florida. The New Orleans, LA
native capped the week with another near
double-double effort, leading the Lions in
scoring (20) and rebounding (nine) in a
92-86 overtime loss at Valdosta State.
